Hi everyone,
I hope you’re doing well. Today we will take a look at the scooter rental resource and scooter model. Also we will need both folders form the zip file.
car-scooter: Scooter Model / scooterRent: Scooter rental script
scooterRent/client/main.lua
Here you can replace all notifications. Just search for ShowNotification / label / AddTextComplementString and you will find notifications there.
You can also adjust a CorLock button here, row 259 (182 = “L” per default)
scooterRent/config.lua
Here you can set some global parameters like:
- set max amount of rental vehicles/scooters if job is set or not
- activate or deactivate carLock
And you can set per Scooter/ Model:
- add/adjust/replace scooters
- set model (you can also set different vehicles models. If you do so I would suggest to adjust notifications to some general expressions)
- set rental price or set it for free
- set reqired job for the rental
When rental time is over scooter disappears and will be spawned on the rental location. It is a good way to avoid scooters on each corner (like in real life ;)) which consume server resources.
Fortunately when you are driving at full speed you will not fly further on your own 🙂 but stay on your feet at your last position.
Animation looks also bit funny (90 degrees rotation of motorcycle animation) but good idea to create a feeling of the scooter driving.

Download resources
put booth resources folders in resources folder on the server
Add start statements to your server.cfg
(re)start your server
